The King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management is determined to educate leaders who will make a positive difference in ranching.
King Ranch pioneered several industry innovations that many modern ranchers take for granted. Today, The Birthplace of American Ranching®, through its involvement in the King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management (KRIRM), echoes this history of innovation in ranching with its concerted effort to promote innovation in ranch management education. The institute is a Master of Science in Ranch Management program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville was created to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of King Ranch. It remains the only master of ranch management program in the world, teaching graduate students using a multi-disciplinary,
systems approach to ranch management. In addition to the master’s program, KRIRM offers the highest quality lectureships and symposia to stakeholders in the ranching industry.
